Local waters

A lake town that grew up fast

Cornelius counted 2,581 residents in 1990. The 2020 census found 31,412. Much of that came after Interstate 77 and Lake Norman turned an old cotton-mill town into one of the busiest corners of north Mecklenburg County.

Growth like that brings new customers every year, and new competitors with them. Families who moved in last spring don't yet know which roofer, dentist or boat mechanic the neighbors use, so they search. Being the clear answer on that screen is what local SEO for Cornelius is about.

No page builder under the hood

Light boats win in light air

Sites assembled by dragging blocks around tow a heap of code they never use. On a phone clinging to a single bar at the marina, that dead weight decides whether a visitor waits or leaves. We hand-write every page, so it carries only its own cargo.

Once finished, it's yours outright: domain, wording, pictures and code. How a custom build comes together.

Race plan

From start gun to finish line

Four legs, a written price before the first one ends, and one person to call the whole way around.

  1. Start

    Talk it through

Thirty minutes on your services, your territory and the customers you'd like more of. Roger shares what jumped out at him on your current site.

  2. Mark 1

    Chart the course

A page plan based on real searches, and a price on paper before anything starts. Half the build fee puts you on the schedule.

  3. Mark 2

    Build and trim

Copy, design and code, then you look it over. Three rounds of changes are included.

  4. Finish

    Cross the line

The second half is due when the completed site is handed over for review. When you approve it, it goes live.

Questions Cornelius owners ask

Is your office in Cornelius?

No, it's in Mooresville, roughly 8 miles north on NC 115. Near enough for Roger to meet in person when that helps; the rest of a project runs smoothly over phone, email and shared screens.

How quickly can a site launch?

Starter builds usually take around a week, Growth around two and Custom around three. Fast feedback on drafts keeps the dates.

Who owns the finished site?

Your company. Domain, copy, pictures and code all belong to you. We charge monthly to host it, but nothing is kept from you.

Is it built on WordPress or Wix?

Neither. Each page is coded by hand starting from an empty file. With no theme or builder underneath, pages stay quick and attackers have far less to target.

Something else on your mind? Meet Roger and the shop, or ask it through the quote form.

What does your site look like from the dock?

Send over the web address and one line about your business. Roger pulls it up on a phone as a Cornelius shopper would, then replies with the one fix he'd make first, and the reason.
