Sailboats race in classes so that boats of a similar size line up together. Websites work the same way: a five-page site for a single-location shop and a sprawling one for a firm that covers the whole lake are different jobs. So instead of a price list, you get a quote written for your business, and it doesn't move once you've agreed to it.
What decides the cost
- Page count. Every service that deserves its own page adds writing, design and testing time.
- Features. A quote form and tap-to-call are standard. Waitlists, calculators, quizzes or booking tools take longer.
- Content. Roger drafts all the wording, but a site built from scratch with no photos needs more groundwork than one with a stocked folder of job pictures.
- Deadline. A launch tied to boating season or a grand opening can be done; a tight date is factored in honestly.
Three sizes of build
Most Cornelius projects fall into one of three classes. They describe scope, not a fixed sticker, and your written quote says exactly which one you're getting and what's in it.
Starter class
Starter
Up to 5 pages
fixed written quote · kept on the Starter care plan
- Launches in roughly a week
- Tap-to-call and a quote form on each page
- Search Console hooked up on day one
Suits a known business that people already search for by name.
Recommended start · Growth class
Growth
8 to 12 pages
fixed written quote · kept on the Growth care plan
- Launches in roughly two weeks
- Every main service gets its own page
- Client praise set beside the decision points
Suits trades with several services worth finding separately.
Custom class
Custom
12 to 15+ pages
fixed written quote · kept on the Custom care plan
- Launches in roughly three weeks
- Page map based on keyword research
- Space for big service lists or special tools
Suits firms with a long menu or a territory that wraps around the lake.
Monthly care after launch
Every site lives on a hosting and care plan matched to its size: hosting, the security certificate, uptime watching and routine edits. The monthly figure appears on your quote alongside the build.

How quoting and payment work
- A fixed quote, on paper, before any work begins. No hourly meter and no surprise invoice at the end.
- 50% to start, which puts your build on the calendar.
- 50% on delivery, when the finished site is handed to you for review.
- Extras are quoted first. An added page or a fourth revision round gets a number before it happens, never after.
- SEO is separate. It's priced after a free review of your market; see how local SEO works here.
Picking a size
If people already look you up by name, a starter build usually does it. Several distinct services that each deserve to be found point toward growth. Long service menus and wide territories call for custom. Not sure? Look over the recent work, then let Roger suggest the leanest size that will do the job.

Pricing questions
1Why not just post a price list?
Because two sites with the same page count can take very different amounts of work. A number written for your job, after a short talk, is more honest than a figure picked to fit everybody.
2Could I begin small and add pages later?
Yes. Many owners launch a starter-sized site and add service pages as the business grows. Each addition is quoted before it's built.
3How many revision rounds come with a build?
Three. If you want a fourth before launch, Roger tells you the cost up front and you decide.
4Is SEO part of the website quote?
No. SEO is its own monthly job, quoted separately after a free look at your business, your competitors and your current site.
